some of these cultivation light novels are really challenging to read because theres so much expositions about how Sect A was popular for X until Sects B, C, and D came together to destroy them. Now Sect A is known as Sect G and wants to rebuild but there's also demonic Sects Z and Y to deal with.

I hate anytime an anime or fantasy media brings in the concept of a "barbarian" race. Like while its probably accurate that the people in those times would refer to their enemies like that atp it feels like an overdone troupe to me

reading scum villain's self saving system after reading heaven official's blessing is definitely jarring. SVSS is fun but it feels like the story flows really awkwardly? and the mc watches things happen more than he actively does stuff.

I know posting "the girls are fighting" seems funny, but it's actually insensitive and shitty.
My father died in a girl fight. He tried to break it up and the girls pulled him apart like freshly baked bread. He didn't even scream. One moment he was there, the next just a spray of dad viscera.
