I podcast about the Amazing Race Canada for #RHAP and hosted the Tomorrow Society Podcast on theme parks. Spend a lot of time on tennis, swimming, Midnight Oil, Survivor, and other competitive reality TV. I love singalong songs. He/him.
Proof that dinosaurs still do roam in a Disney theme park!

It was down for most of the day (on its first day back), but I was able to finally ride the OG Soarin’ Over California today at DCA. First time for me since before Soarin’ Around the World appeared. It’s still the best and basically a perfect ride for me. Glad I got to ride it again!

Here’s @benclemens.bsky.social’s write-up of the three-teamer that’s bringing Brendan Donovan to Seattle, with a heavy dose of @bgawlowski.bsky.social’s reports on the Mariners prospects going back to St. Louis.

I went over to Instagram and read Kole Calhoun’s full statement and I’ve gotta say: fuck yes Kole Calhoun.

Sad to hear the news about Rob Hirst. Peter was Midnight Oil's face, but Rob was the heart. Co-wrote basically every classic Oils song. Beds Are Burning, The Dead Heart, Read About It, so many more. His drums made them a ferocious live band. Rob was one of a kind. stereogum.com/2485969/midn...

Awesome job by @robcesternino.bsky.social on The Traitors! Loved the moment of him trying to hide from the conga line after clocking the “murder in plain sight”. It was a very sad result, but it was so great to have Rob back on our TVs again! #thetraitorsus

Words are insufficient for me to summarize the extraordinary life of the brilliant Eddie Sotto, even after a day of writing notices of varying lengths. Although I knew this day was approaching, I still don’t know where to begin. Eddie had been signaling it to me in the most paradoxical, “Eddie” way…

Sad to hear of the loss of Eddie Sotto. I have early memories of going to Knotts in the '80s and riding the Wacky Soap Box Racers. I was nervous on coasters but had a blast. Also loved the gorgeous Main Street in Paris. He was such a great storyteller and fun guest on podcasts. A brilliant artist!

Can someone please just tell me when this is over so we can get back to #Survivor? Life is too short for this.

I started a full #StargateSG-1 rewatch after the recent news of a new show. My favorite five episodes of Season 1:
1. There But for the Grace of God
2. The Torment of Tantalus
3. Solitudes
4. Children of the Gods
5. Within the Serpent's Grasp

I'm loving this trend of updating EPCOT attractions that are popular and not letting them grow too stale. The changes to Frozen and Ratatouille should make those rides better, and I'm excited to see what happens with this new Soarin' film. Hopefully less CGI! More of this, Disney!

I really hope this is the last gasp of the new era approach of taking the flint and making tribes earn basic supplies. It’s definitely not fun to watch players struggle this much. #Survivor

I did not have old-school transportation drama for this season of the #AmazingRace on my bingo card. It was a fun surprise! Teams actually had to book tickets and think on the fly. I enjoyed this episode a lot more than the premiere; more of this, please! #RHAP
