Currently reading The Favorites by Layne Fargo and it’s filling the gap in my heart that was left by the movie “The Cutting Edge” - anyone remember that movie? Just me?

Either way go buy this book because it’s 👩‍🍳😘 #BookSky #BookReview #Romance #BookTokRefugee

The Quiet Tenant by Clemence Michallon

There are some books that you don’t rate because to rate them would do a disservice to the reality of the truths that they told-this is one of those books. I loved that this story was victim-focused-that’s what we need in the thriller/crime space. #BookSky

A Dowry of Blood by S.T. Gibson ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again - S.T. Gibson is a master of metaphor, and the reigning lady of lyricism. I will praise this book until the end of time. I have never seen the truth of abuse so perfectly portrayed. #Romantasy #📚💙 #BookSky #BookTokRefugee

The Will of the Many by James Islington ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When I say this, hear me - James Islington is a WRITER with a capital dub. I cannot wait until the next book is released.

P.S. James, if you see this - WHEN????

Red Rising by Pierce Brown (whole series) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dear Pierce Brown,

I’m still deciding if I should send you accolades carved into plated gold for the masterpiece that is this series, or if I should send you my therapy bill.

Sincerely,
An Emotionally Distraught Howler 🐺

(wait, is gut-wrenching one word or two? does the hyphen glue them together? someone please help)

Odd Spirits by S.T. Gibson ⭐️⭐️⭐️

A wonderful novella about the trials of marriage, thrown up against the delightfully dark whimsy of the occult 👻 Like eating a truffle filled with decadent blackberry cream - S.T. Gibson is a master of wordsmithing and place setting 📚🐦‍⬛

Severance by Ling Ma ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ling Ma is an author that sees humanity - she observes them and depicts them with sure brushstrokes in all their exact brutality. She is an artist, and I look forward to listening EVERY time she speaks in the future.
