I also feel like the freakout scene, in a way, shows us how someone can be pushed to their limit, especially when the critic seems to be making a joke of all of it, "You know how hard my staff works? How hard they work to make YOU happy, but then you just fuckin shit all over their shit!"

Oh yes, those are also very important parts of the movie, and I love how he is sharing his passion with his son, like the scene where Percy burns a cubano and goes "So? They aren't paying for it" and Carl has to talk to him about how this is his passion, and how he should be giving it his all.

I second this!! Chef is such an incredible film full of incredible food shots, a PHENOMANAL soundtrack of various forms of jazz, soul and punk, and a story of redemption about a man who just wants to cook, but also wants to be a good father to his son, highly recommend!!

Two icons, two people with love in their hearts, and a passion for education in their souls, come together to share their passion with the entire world. Julia is such an icon, and so was Mr. Rogers, truly big names in the world of public broadcast television.
