Update: this is going well. Finished A Ship of Bones & Teeth by Karina Hale - a dark retelling of the Little Mermaid. Wasn’t bad.
Determined to step out of my comfort zone this year by reading books I wouldn’t normally read as well as writing books I wouldn’t normally write.
