Well, that was a smashimg First Night, and made better for us stay at homes, (yes, I should have bought a ticket for that one), by the BBC going with R3 presenters on the telly rather than celebs.

You've got to hand it to the German fans at the Nations League final, 105 minutes in and Cucurella is still being booed every time he touches the ball because of a handball a year ago. Nothing like holding a proper grudge in football.

I have a largely irrational dislike of Newcastle Utd, a club with delusions of grandeur and supporters who cannot accept their consistent underperformance. (Perhaps they're just a bit too much like us). A result for West Ham tonight will be a serious statement.
