Just watched that Big New Crossover Spongebob Episode
I thought it was neat But I don't think Luigi would work at the Krusty Krab. He's far too emotionally unstable to do customer service in Bikini Bottom.
Feels kinda forced having him also be a sponge. I wonder if Nintendo demanded that

You don't need AI to make animation. You literally have a camera in your pocket. You can draw with a stick in the mud and shoot the frames. There are several apps that help make this even easier.
You don’t need Disney-level resources and drawing skills to create animation.
