Here's an unsolicited plug for Josh Marshall's Talking Points Memo media site: I've started my day with @tpm.bsky.social since the G.W. Bush administration, relying on its deep political insight and dot connecting. Check it out, and consider becoming a member to support what it's doing so well:

I heard my friend Dan here give a remarkable brief talk about this last month. Thankfully, he’s written it up at length to share.
In light of everything happening, I wrote about how the KKK in the 1920s felt unstoppable, about the people that fought against them anyway, and about how fascism always fails. dansinker.com/posts/202…

What a letter.
NEWS: Hagan Scotten, one of the SDNY attorneys prosecuting Eric Adams' case, has resigned ... and is blasting the Trump Justice Department on the way out.

Can this possibly be true? Surely the people will rally behind DOJ attorneys, yes?
Strong rumor with credible sourcing: DOJ has put all of public integrity line attorneys in a room and told them they have an hour for someone to choose who will sign motion to dismiss and if nobody does, they will all be fired. The nastiest strong-arming in DOJ history by a long shot.

This probably could have been written by a Friedman-trained AI bot.....but I still liked it and it ended with this banger: “It is easier to turn an aquarium into fish soup, then to turn fish soup into an aquarium.”

Pitino has some history for sure - but this was super classy. Reminder I gotta go rewatch that Big East 30 for 30.
Love this. The ESPN 30 for 30 showed how Rick Pitino was the young fella surrounded by those Big East giants of Thompson, Carnesecca, Massimino, Boeheim.

Now he's the old guard paying respect to a legend who just left us. Nice tribute to Lou Carnesecca

Really excited about what innovation like this can do for spinal cord injury victims!
An AI-powered leg exoskeleton boosts joint strength by 15-20%. Georgia Tech’s flexible AI controller, paired with a lightweight exoskeleton from X - The Moonshot Factory (Google), assists users with various leg movements, even those it hasn't seen before.
