Democrats could win huge this fall if they ran on two big ideas: Abolish ICE and anti-corruption. It's really that easy.

If you want to win an election this year, run on "ICE agents aren't above the law and should be criminally charged" Then, in the future, expand it to all law enforcement.

We are proud to announce that we recruited candidates to run in ALL 170 legislative districts and ALL 14 congressional districts in the state!

In contrast, the NC GOP has fallen short, with only a fraction of the number of candidates filing to run for office. SAD.

@schumer.senate.gov THIS is what the American people are asking to be dealt with.
Quinnipiac poll: Registered voters

57% disapprove of how ICE is enforcing immigration laws

53% think the fatal shooting of Renee Good was not justified

52% disapprove of how Kristi Noem is handling her job

"It's a terror campaign, of course, but the people doing it are themselves so terrified and so manifestly out of their depth and incapable, and so deeply lost in their own single-serving fogs of war, that it all becomes recursive. "

I would say they aren't sending their best but..... that might be the best the Republicans can get
When a TV guest goes the predictable route of claiming they're "paid protestors," hosts must immediately ask if they have any proof.

When they sputter that they're guessing, ask if *they* were paid to come on TV and lie about it.

No? You're offended by that? Gosh, I'm just guessing here like you.
"You're seeing a lot of paid protesters" -- Rep. Mike Haridopolos's attempt to defend ICE's tactics in Minneapolis during a CNN panel discussion this morning did not go well. Bad used car salesman vibes.

Shutting it down and filing criminal conspiracy charges is the better move
Hakeem Jeffries: "Clearly, significant reform needs to take place as it relates to the manner in which ICE is conducting itself. ICE is using taxpayer dollars to brutalize American citizens and to unnecessarily and viciously target law-abiding immigrant families and communities."

Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), to Bloomberg TV:

“If there is military action against #Greenland, I will be one of the first people to file and co-sponsor a War Powers Resolution. It will pass.”

I feel like the right gets a lot more representation from their reps than liberals do. Democratic politicians always want to apologize for being liberal, and Republicans don't mind being raging assholes and don't apologize for it.

Why don't the Democrats have a running list of every law/norm that Trump is violating? Then use that in EVERY press conference. Just keep beating people over the head how extreme this administration is.

Foreign governments, feel free to abduct our president and his cabinet. They say it’s ok for them to do so it must be ok for it to be done to them.

Trump likes to make a big deal about autopen but Biden could explain the documents were signed. Trump may sign things by hand but he doesn't know what he's signing. That's much scarier.

I've come to realize that when people talk about having "Fuck You" money, it's so they can tell the poorer people to "Fuck Off" but they will continue to suck up to anyone that can give them more money.
