Knitting & garden shenanigans. Big cats and tiny dogs. I 💜 books. CEO of 3Mór she/her pronouns.
I didn’t realize it was hipster runway model night at Trader Joe’s. Go SE Portland

November is the birthday month of a friend who didn’t make it. He was drowning in debt and didn’t see any options. Lately, I rate myself on a scale of 1 to Kelly. I’m guessing I’m not alone or even interesting.

It made me think of a line in a book, “The thing about drowning is it’s silent”

Kiss the Girls is apparently my relaxation movie.

I was worried in Feb/Mar about Marshall law but the governor’s stepped up. I was worried about SNAP but I’m seeing a ground swell of mutual aid and community.

The cruelty is the point. Division is the point. If we realize we are better together, we all win. Here’s hoping.

When you see Mamdani looking all normal doing normal person things—petting bodega cats, riding public transport—you realize just how bizarre and estranged our average candidate for public office is. Rich martians in flesh suits

I think we need a rule where representatives can not have dual citizenship. Or they can’t vote on any package that sends money to the country they are also a citizen of. Either is fine.

Watching “The Woman in Cabin 10” and wow she has no survival skills whatsoever.

It’s weird to be walking with my two spicy dogs with 5 crows flying around me that people think, I’m going to make her move

This is what a judicial warrant looks like. If a federal agent shows up at your door with a warrant that doesn’t have the judge’s signature, you don’t have to let them in.

Contact PIRC at 1-888-622-1510 if a federal agent shows up at your residence or workplace. #KnowYourRights

There is a sea shanty on how to start an F16 and I feel like TikTok is sparking a weird amount of joy

My crow made it through the night. They are still just as crafty and I wasn’t able to catch em.

Sad

I feel so sad that I couldn’t catch a baby crow with an injured wing. Does this indicate I’m depressed? Maybe. Or I’m having a hard time processing the world shenanigans.

It doesn’t have to be one thing

Someone said, “it feels like it’s going to lightning and thunder.”

It took everything in me not to say, “eh, doesn’t smell like it.”

Because it’s just humid for Portland and it feels weird because there is no wind. Weather 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just started The Tourist. It’s awesome! How did I miss this show when it first came out?!?!

On the one hand building my own app means when someone finds a bug on Friday, I can dig in to fix it. On the other hand the team who just left Friday bugs to Monday were better rested.

I’ve spent the last year trying to create my own role or find a job. I’m now at the point of fixing my house and yard up assuming I’ll have to move.

I know tons of people are doing the same thing. I’m not special. I just feel like I fought wars to have a safe space only to realize I lost. Sucks

I’ve been building apps. Both are focused on climate resilience. One for home and one for garden.

Trying to get good data is both easy and hard. Doge really did a number on the well, numbers

Any PNW folks ever gone huckleberry picking? I’ve always wanted to go and feel like this year might be nice to try. I know you should use your hands not a tool and don’t pick the bushes clean.

I’d love to hear from someone who has done it before.

I saw 4 kids riding 2 scooters yesterday. It was oddly heartwarming. Just kids doing kid shenanigans. No adults just a random adventure. I wish that freedom and safety for everyone.

It’s time for someone to replace Ron Wyden. I can’t even with his voting record. Who is our up and comer? We need someone who represents our values not their own. @councilormorillo.bsky.social ???

Here’s a thought. Just put all the names the Epstein survivors have shared in a spreadsheet and you’ll have the list. It’s not hard. If everyone just shared that list and I don’t know, we prosecuted, paid personal damages and jailed the perpetrators the world would be a tiny bit better.

I’ve been building a garden app as a way to learn more about coding. It’s a climate resilience focused app.

The amount of partial yet critical data out there about climate change is shocking.

Anyway, if you can swing it, have a pollinator container.

I have a butterfly in my yard and every time I see it, I sing the Reading Rainbow song. It’s awesome. It’s a bright spot in the chaos.

Everyone setting off fireworks in Portland, you’re now required to spend a full week protesting at the ICE site.

You clearly aren’t a rule follower and don’t mind explosions. Use that energy for good!!!

I hear they love using rubber bullets and tear gas so gear up.
