Arranged an inter-family social for tomorrow. The first time my old man will have met the other half's parents. Absolutely bricking it. I'm hoping a cocktail bar, Persian food and a Christmas market will all help to take the edge off. Feel physically sick.

Thought I'd check the tyre compressor in case the worst were to happen during a dark winter drive. Good job I did as it was tripping a fuse.

I've come out of a meeting about a monthly meeting, which is is now being replaced with three different types of meeting, one of which will be weekly. But remember: the NHS doesn't want to tie us all up with meetings.

I'm finding this after a few days in a 992. Between the numb electric steering and the car's increased size, it feels somehow less engaging and dynamic versus its predecessor. Add to that some odd interior design choices and it all comes across as a step backwards.

Disappointed that a property developer won't countenance a bid unless my own property is already under offer. Guess I'll just have to list my house and hope that something decent is available when an offer comes in. Hate this.
