16 month GAHTiversery. Feeling great! The other day verses about 5 years ago. Yeh, there’s been some changes both from social and hormonal interaction.

Fathers Day. A day of conflict. I’m a trans woman but still have a male element I can’t quite let go. Fact-I’m a dad of 4 fantastic accepting adult kids. Who am I “dressing”/expressing for? I’ll kind of look like a guy today, but deep down still be a woman. Hair, nail polish will be visible. Sigh.

In case y'all missed it - Utah Republicans ordered a study on transgender healthcare, expecting it to come back unsupportive.
Instead, it found that trans youth care was safe and effective, and that transgender youth need it.

Ok, so no makeup, lol. Had to make a quick trip to grab a flag, didn’t meet anyone but still felt great. It’s taken some time to get here, 15 months on hormones, laser for the dark stubble and a quick wet shave. I can see I don’t “need” makeup, but still like just a touch.

Just had an upper body CT scan, first step in the medical investigation. Also interesting way to celebrate my 14 month GAHT-iversary. Keep it real, enjoy life.

Well life just threw me a curve ball. A mole I had removed came back as melanoma, have a CAT scan next week then a sentinal lymph node biopsy. hoping we got it early, it’s times like this that the adage of living life to the fullest, every day, takes on new meaning.
