This was at a Walmart here. Multiple waves, too. What you can’t see in this image are the two Sky-Bytes and one Flatline. There was also the entire current deluxe wave minus Windcharger on the $28 pegs above.

Hasbro, I love you but how’s that $44 Transformers Voyager class price point working out for you?
February 12, 2026 at 7:31 PM
But is the initial+last name an adjective for the noun or simply a larger noun? 🦚
February 11, 2026 at 10:11 PM
You should read G. I. Joe: World on Fire.
February 11, 2026 at 10:09 PM
Adding the middle initial does not help the name.
February 11, 2026 at 10:06 PM
Interesting to note this from Hasbro’s investor call yesterday. As far as Point of Sale goes, Joe is up.

Transformers could benefit from Hasbro focusing on the kids lines instead of the collector content and product.

Earthspark had a tremendous first season and you can see in S2 that Hasbro killed their budget.

I think so, at least outside of comic books.

To be fair, Hasbro hit the right blend with G. I. Joe Renegades about 20 years ago. Basically Joe as the A-Team + ninjas.

It likely alienated the core Joe incel audience, but if done again would likely grow the brand.

At Kohl’s? Were they discounted?

Plus, add in the hard right problem in America and Joe represents less of a toy adventure and more of a cultural division. (Just look at the responses to my original thread.)
February 11, 2026 at 7:46 PM
This whole thread is fantastic. Honestly, it is a lot of what I've kicked around in my head for years, "Can GI Joe work post 9-11?"

The current climate is probably the most similar to post-Vietnam US just prior to RAH hitting big. But RAH as a TV show was The Village People with lasers.
February 11, 2026 at 7:46 PM
Honestly, that lines up with what they've done to their other brands in the last 5 years.
February 11, 2026 at 7:42 PM
Star Wars is a licensed brand (same for Marvel). The list contains only Hasbro-owned properties.
February 11, 2026 at 6:20 PM
Joe not in the top 10 makes more sense than Power Rangers even making the list. Hasbro hasn't made their own PR figures in a few years.
February 11, 2026 at 5:29 PM
Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks posted this image on LinkedIn today. Interesting to see Transformers as Hasbro's most engaged brand.

(Weird to see Power Rangers at #4 and G.I. Joe not in the top 10.)

Not entirely a joke character. Ballpoint was introduced in a Young Adult-aimed graphic novel called Worst Bot Ever. The Free Comic Book Day issue was a preview of that.
February 7, 2026 at 12:56 PM
Oh yay, that post a robot meme is back, rendering my Transformers feed unusable.

I have two more Seige Seeker molds still unopened in storage. Those will join the shelf eventually.

If you see this, post a rabbit.

How my Seeker shelf started the morning. 2/2
February 5, 2026 at 12:06 AM
Updated my Seeker shelf today and I’m really happy with how it came out.

Added in 6 Siege Seekers to the mix, lifted the back row higher, moved one small figure to another shelf and somehow ended up with more space!

The before picture is in the thread. 1/2

Yep. I have a note for my next pod that it will be 10 years in December since MTMTE changed over to Lost Light.
