Megadons Mechanized Battle Carrier ITAC - Iron Toothed Assault Carrier! Megadons were made by a company called Hales as an all-purpose off-brand tie-in to various popular named brand figures, from 3 3/4 to 8-inch. They had 2 control seats for various scales. Has a cool clockwork walking action!

Masters of the Universe Sssqueeze! Odd but attractive constrictor Snakeman with a colour scheme as killer as his arms. Seems to shop at the same outfitters as Terror Claws Skeletor. I love his lil robot snake pet/weapon. There’s a distinct lack of pack-in partner figures in MOTU so it is welcome

Masters of the Universe Twistoid! GLORIOUS colours! He should meet Action Master Thundercracker. Like his fellow Energy Zoid I like that the back of his helmet looks like a closed version of the front with blast shields. I do question why Man-At-Arms created the machine that made these abominations

The lovely box for the Masters of the Universe Beam-Blaster & Artilleray! It’s rather vague about who the Artilleray belongs to, the box art shows Hordak in control whilst the top has it manned by an unfortunate Tung Lashor (who I guess was a Hordesman in the show). Adverts showed Skeletor using it

Bravestarr Stratocoach box! Had the toy for ages but just filled a gap & picked up a box to go with it. Lovely! The Stratocoach is cool but it’s a bit too small for the figures & suffers from the small selection of available Bravestarr characters (no Molly to drive it!). Only way to get a Turbomule

Bravestarr Stratocoach box! Had the toy for ages but just filled a gap & picked up a box to go with it. Lovely! The Stratocoach is cool but it’s a bit too small for the figures & suffers from the small selection of available Bravestarr characters (no Molly to drive it!). Only way to get a Turbomule
Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers Goldar! The 8-inch scale PR Evil Space Alien figures aren’t the greatest figures ever (terrible articulation) but they do look nice and Goldar is particularly pretty. He doesn’t come with his sword (weirdly comes with the Putty) & he can only hold it if you balance it

Masters of the Universe Rotar! The Energy Zoids don’t get a lot of love but I enjoy their quintessential MOTU weirdness (nostalgia is the only thing that makes people accept Ram Man & turn their nose up at Rotar). Masters of the Universe Buzzsaw Hordak! A figure that dares to ask the question - “what if Hordak got a bit porky & started firing power tools from his gut?” (so brave). The saw shooter is fun though a he’s a bit samey as an upgrade, only the belt & gut different from original. Very scarce in the UK

Last night I dreamt that I discovered some completely unknown Rock Lords prototypes (Flocked Lords, RLs with green flock on them to make them look mossy - Spikestone looked amazing - & a big Tonka truck with Rock Lords deco on the trailer & cardboard diarama inside it). Woke up grasping for them 😭

Masters of the Universe Gwildor! Looks uncommonly like my grandma. As a kid I clocked him as a cheapo Orko substitute & took a dislike to him, unfairly as he’s actually a lot of fun in the film & I like him now. Figure is nice & adds a bit of line variety even if his Cosmic Key is a bit crap. Moo?

… in a bit of cross-line parts sharing Blast-Attak’s cord is *nearly* the same as the safe detonator cord from Fort Kerium’s bank though Blast-Attak’s central pusher pin is fatter. The cords are interchangeable though Fort Kerium’s thinner pin doesn’t work well with Blast-Attak’s trigger

Masters of the Universe Mantisaur! Hordak got a killer steed (quite literally by the looks of it) which made up for The Horde’s lack of vehicles. Feels very deluxe compared to Battlecat/Panthor with moving parts though obviously nowhere near as iconic. As noted I love the similarity to Mosquitor

Masters of the Universe Mantisaur! Hordak got a killer steed (quite literally by the looks of it) which made up for The Horde’s lack of vehicles. Feels very deluxe compared to Battlecat/Panthor with moving parts though obviously nowhere near as iconic. As noted I love the similarity to Mosquitor
