So I'm up this morning at 3:45 am to a Fox Sparrow over my head just belting out its song.

I was instantly transformed to this commercial from 1986 as the Fox Sparrow was singing "Nytol— will help you get your Z's!"

Now the DOGE scumbags are coming for the Bird Banding Laboratory (part of USGS). They just lost two senior staff members and are going to be stretched extremely thin. Without their office, bird research does not happen.
