Extremely happy to have learned you can use a Pavlova Egg instead of raw egg whites to make Royal Icing.

Gingerbread house has much better structural integrity this year.

Great panel session underway at Climate Ready Australia National Summit, hosted by Griffith Uni in South Brisbane today.

Good to see my old friend & fmr Qld minister Rod Welford moderating.

I’m here in my capacity as part of the Climate Ready Initiative’s advisory board.

My mum brought home a choko from the community farm today. I roasted it with cardamom & allspice. Served with butter. Delicious. And my kids learned an Australian colloquialism.

Stunning set from Killpill tonight at Norman Park — one of several terrific bands on the bill at the 4ZZZ bushcare gig.

Thanks to the Norman Park Bowlo for being such a great venue.

Also they are super cute
the sandgroper, an insect endemic to western australia, has the functional components to make sounds near it's mandibles yet there is no record of them using them to make sound.

this begs the question of what their call will herald.

I watched an episode of Legion which I very much enjoyed and then I saw it had been directed by Hiro Murai, and thought, that explains it.

Anyhow, Legion, would recommend.

I really liked it.
One of my hotter movie takes of late is that I don't think Across the Spider-verse tells half a story.

The plot? Yeah, that's left hanging. But basically all of the major character arcs reach a resolution that will move them forward through the next bit of plot. That's why it works!
