i actively avoid posting negative opinions i have about stuff but the movie i saw today felt so bad that i have to make a conscious effort to not just post about it while still trying to settle my thoughts on it. and what makes me feel more negative about it is how much everyone loves it lol

every time someone repackages papers please and places it in a context other than Generic Eastern Bloc as shorthand for Dystopic Oppression to the western mindset, people see the fraught and nasty politics inherent to the premise immediately. however this never seems to lead back to papers please
