Aka Tempie. Mixed breed dog causing chaos and leaving hair wherever I go. 7 yrs old. Landed in a shelter at 4 wks old before finding my human @darkesthour.bsky.social a few weeks later.

Whilst we only had a sprinkling of snow here (I’m only 5 miles from the South Wales coast so we don’t see a lot), all the unthawed sheet ice from yesterday is now hidden. 👀There may have been some slipping and sliding from both Tempest and me. 😅

Me, as a puppy, on a lead walking ahead of my human mum. We are walking down the paths towards the fields.u tail is very skinny and my pointy ears are big, and my hair is short. It is a dry day. Me, as a big dog, on the lead walking ahead of my human mum, walking down the same path as the first photo. Only we are a little further down as we came of the side track from the woods. Mental is much bigger and fluffier, and gets bitty. I grew into my pointy ears and I have long hair which gets everywhere. Hah! I’m a poet and I didn’t know it. Again it is a dry day, until we got home, then it started raining.

The family next door to us gave me a Christmas gift which is almost as big as me. There treats too, which I’ve opened, but mum won’t let me open the big one for a few days.

This time 7 years ago. I was 2 & 1/2 months old and Hogan was 1 & 1/2 years old.
Since this time, we’ve got a much bigger nicer tree, but the office is still messy.

For those who don’t know, Hogan is my foster brother who lives with my human mum’s boss. I lived with them for a few weeks after arriving at the rescue shelter. Hogan is also a rescue dog, he was 4 months old at the time, he’s now 8 yrs.

My 1st night, 7 years ago, in my new home, sleeping next to my new mum’s feet. Mum said I howled all the way from the rescue shelter and she howled along with me. I spent the afternoon sleeping and playing, then sleeping some more. I also kept waking up in the night to check mum was still there.
Me, when I was a puppy, asleep on the floor with my head between my human mum’s feet. Mum has fluffy slipper boots on that I would steal and cwtch with when she popped to the shop. I also may have, one day, attacked and ripped the back of one of them when mum was walking away from me. But who is to say if I did it or not.

7 yrs ago I adopted @tempestaurora.bsky.social At 4 wks old she arrived at a shelter in a box, where they named her Wotsit. It’s been 7 yrs of hair (so much), idiocy, walks, fun, arguments (her Husky side), anxiety (both of us), and being owned by her. Wouldn’t change a thing. Happy Gotcha, Tempie🥰

Today we’ve walked through trees, through fields, along a boardwalk through marshland, around a tiny medieval village, and around a lake (twice around the lake). Mum says we’ve not been to Cosmeston Lakes since I was a puppy and I’m 7 now. We should walk here more often.

Mum says it isn’t the original barn, the rebuilt the buildings based on the foundations they found in the ground. Me, stood in a field, looking over my right shoulder at my mum. I want to cover over the little wooden bridge into another field, but mum said not today. So we walked through the field we were already in.

This is my friend, Ollie. He’s 10 and barks very loudly. We haven’t seen him for ages but today we saw him In his garden and his mum & dad invited me in to play. They told us that Ollie was very sick this week and they thought they were losing him, but he’s back to his loud self again. I love Ollie.
