Whilst we only had a sprinkling of snow here (I’m only 5 miles from the South Wales coast so we don’t see a lot), all the unthawed sheet ice from yesterday is now hidden. 👀There may have been some slipping and sliding from both Tempest and me. 😅

It rained here last night before the minus temps kicked in over night, leaving the paths and roads covered in sheet ice. 😅 I didn’t take Tempie out until midday to give the sun time to thaw the ice, but most of the pathways were still slippery. There were several slips, but luckily no falls.

I keep watching the last few cut scenes and oof, it hits harder each time. Especially when a specific theme tune plays in one of them. 😢

You do realise that I’ll now have to make a thread of puzzle shapes as I come across them. So let’s start with a Viking helmet. I’ve noticed the object shaped pieces have patterns laser cut into them to create outlines on the back.

One of the gifts I received today is this wooden jigsaw puzzle. Only 300 pieces but these aren’t any ordinary pieces. I haven’t opened the bag but so far, some of the shapes I’ve seen are an anchor, a dagger, and a seahorse with wings but could be a dragon with a pot belly.

One of the gifts I received today is this wooden jigsaw puzzle. Only 300 pieces but these aren’t any ordinary pieces. I haven’t opened the bag but so far, some of the shapes I’ve seen are an anchor, a dagger, and a seahorse with wings but could be a dragon with a pot belly.
Just imagine the stuffing in that. 😅 I won’t be able to leave her unsupervised with this though, as it isn’t an actual dog toy, so has plastic parts that can be chewed off.
I guess we’re a 2 dog house now.

Saying goodbye to my Switch. Funny how we can get attached to inanimate objects, because I have a new one but feel sad to see this one go. Although, one of my nephews is buying it off me, so at least it is still in the family.

My neighbour messaged me to say my 9 yr old TF buddy couldn’t wait and opened his gift off me earlier. Sounds like he is happy. 😊 This is his 1st Blokee and I’m still waiting to hear what one he has.
Christmas gift for my 9 yr old Transformers buddy next door. Whichever one he gets, I’m going to be very jealous. 😅

Without opening it I know it’s a soft toy. I’m already imagining my room looking like a snow storm hit when she liberates said soft toy of its stuffing. 😅
The family next door to us gave me a Christmas gift which is almost as big as me. There treats too, which I’ve opened, but mum won’t let me open the big one for a few days.
