AUTOBOTS! Transform, and roll out!
I challenged myself into creating an animation within a '24 hour' (or basically over the course of a day) of a Transformer. I based it on my own car, and I'm pretty happy with the result (barring a few minor glitches I'm only seeing now it's been rendered).

I was shown an image for some Ferengi ships which I think were for a Stellaris mod. My good buddy and GM @elhmk1.bsky.social also saw them and liked the "Raider 1" model in particular, so I spent some time modelling it out to show up in an intro video for a game of his I'll be playing in soon!

Well, I finished Star Trek Resolute - took me a bit longer to get through it than I expected because I feel I enjoyed it less as the game went on. I definitely felt very unsatisfied with the ending. And man, some of the characters on the crew should *not* be in Starfleet...

So as much as I'm enjoying Star Trek Resurgence, I am finding the character models to be my biggest dislike. The faces (on the main cast at least) are great, but the bodies are weird. In particular, Nili Edsilar, who seems to have the giraffe neck to match the spots... I can't unsee it.

After completing Dispatch this week, I've been playing Star Trek Resurgence - a game I'd put off for a long while but have now been thoroughly enjoying. I'm not far into it, and there's a considerable amount of jank, but it's very Star Trek at it's core. So far, I'd heartily recommend it.

I saw Predator Badlands last night, and I really quite enjoyed it. It's the film that 15 year old me (obsessed with Yautjas and their culture as depicted in the comics and books) would have loved to see. It has the messiest title card drop I've ever seen in a film though, which I had to mock 😂
