Y'all. Don't do measles parties. This is dangerous and ill-informed nonsense that has very fatal consequences for at-risk groups. A measle infection wipes your entire immune system memory and you basically are immunosuppressed/vulnerable to *everything else* besides measles for 2-3 yrs thereafter!

You know, it feels pretty bad when you start to feel like anyone outside of your work environment doesn't understand the complete insanity that is happening. You don't want to think the worst of anyone despite being labeled as the worst. :)

So, I'm not actually sure if I watched Nausicaa all the way before today, but I sure did just cry a lot just now. I literally only wanted to test if my fix for playing BDs in VLC player actually worked looooool

Reiterating because I'm *personally* seeing an uptick of this coinciding with the reported 18.8% increase in detection for Flu around week 2 of January. The country is still experiencing elevated activity so just be mindful of your surroundings.
