There's loving a TV show, which is nice and fun and makes my brain fizzy. That's happened to me many times in my life.
And then there's loving a TV show so much I join up with an international band of weirdos who care deeply about each other and about the world. That's only happened to me once.

Gotta admit, I do worry about the intensity of my ofmd hyperfixation fading because this is the first time in my life I’ve had a community attached to a hyperfixation. Ofc I still love ofmd with all my heart, but, partly in thanks to it’s brilliance, my life has grown and expanded around it…

I’ve been writing my socks off and might have chapter 1/3 ready to drop tonight… but would people be annoyed if the other two chapters weren’t ready until after the 25th? Would anyone still want to read a Christmas fic after the big day?

Stede suspiciously wins the bet every year. It's three years before their friends catch onto the fuckery. #ofmd #OurFlagMeansDeath
