Dropkick Murphys are standing with us on June 6 in D.C. because they know what this fight means.

They’ve always stood with working people, and this time, they’re standing with veterans, military families, and our allies.

Examples of some of what we are dealing with here in the USA. Hopefully we'll prevail and species will recover too.
Legend has it this salamander came from hell. We’re about to send it back.

#SciArt Scientific illustrator Alissa Eckert, after helping create this image & after 17-yrs. of service to the CDC here in the USA was fired. This is not normal; this is corruption. When we take back our country hopefully she'll get her job back. We're protesting everyday now, won't be much longer.

#Frogfriday 🐍The Emerald poison frog Ameerega smaragdina was officially synonymized w/ A. petersi see French et al., 2019. I noted this being known prior to French et al. in the aposematic poison frog book we published in 2016. Enjoy a shiny moist-looking poison frog from Perú! © 2016 Ted R. Kahn.

My obligatory #WorldFrogDay post. An undescribed Pristimantis sp. I found in Colombia years ago. An Andinobates cassidyhornae from the type locality in Colombia that we described in 2013 (on right).

Okay. Chill out - my advice to myself after days of protesting here in Washington, DC against the Nazis. Have a newt. Do something today to change tomorrow.
