All the open source software I use seems to come from Vienna. And I don't know why...

Sometimes I wonder: Do I do too much stuff?

Nah.
I should start growing oyster mushrooms in my livingroom.

A trombone is probably the closest physical thing to a synth bass

I was chronically lazy which was starting to get to me, struggling to find the right group to work out with when I was recommended this. I ended up getting VR because I knew I really wanted to be there proper.
Now it's been 1.5 years, with 9 months in VR, I feel so much fitter, and it's a blast!
Thank you all so much for 2 fantastic years!

As a thank you, please enjoy our team leads getting sweaty, sappy, and sentimental as we thank you all for everything you've done for the gym this past year!

Hell yeah, playing PHC was a blast!

After months of procrastination I have finally started my next batch of mead.
Is this procrastination for something else?
Probably

I'm gonna be playing PHC as Astr0 next week!
Swing by if you like dubstep and DNB (and spooks)
It's here in just a week! 👻
Custom venue, scare maze, a spooky stage that changes with every single performer, and more - all spanning over two days, Friday and Saturday, you can't miss the biggest Halloween event out there!

Ready to face your fears? 🎃

@tantacrul.bsky.social will there be a way to do gentle tempo automation in Audacity? It's something not all DAWs handle properly, especially when you need to gradually increase the speed warp of a sample

And after some fussing about with an electrical tape based rear mate and a bit of cleaning we have the final stack-up

@fleeks.art's udon dragon - but a bit cyberpunk

Yoinked the backlight stack from a salvaged monitor, clipped to size. This is the first test fit, worked surprisingly well.

I'm gonna fix the individual diode bleed on the left, then make parts of the backlight flicker like a broken CFL :D

Knowing how disorganized I am in my free time vs being commended for being so organized with my work is such a weird contrast...

We've finally found a use for it!
A friend suggested it should show if you should take an umbrella when going out. I've built a quick script that pulls from the Geosphere Austria API and informs our network.

Green: You're good today
Yellow: Good for next 5h, rain after
Red: Rain soon
Something I've been working on for a while is a traffic light. I got it off the trash pile of the manufacturer / operator and it's been sitting in my basement for years. 1/n

It is insomnia time
I can hear the bats chirping outside
My partner breathing next to me
And yet here I am, looking at Bsky...

Revisiting an already completed software project is interesting. I'm rebuilding it from the ground up, but now I know exactly what I will need, meaning I can build the API first.
It's really cool writing a pure header and doc file for everything and then doing implementation once the board is set.

When you finally come up with a solution for a problem you've had and it only requires a full rewrite

I've been using Spotify as my music discovery platform for a long time.
Yesterday I felt like something was off - and I was right. The entire stream of music I was listening to that day - none of the artists exist. It was all Al.

I am disgusted beyond belief. This was the last straw. I'm leaving.

We have guests this week, so we've been pushing to get a bunch of home projects over the line.

It's nice seeing the apartment come together slowly.

Welp, the far right is coming to Bsky. They found another platform to poison.
Block and report I guess...

I managed.
Just barely...
But I managed.
I wanted to write a piece of software which sorts my music for me. And I'm still convinced that was the right call.

But I'm still working on the software and the deadline for the demo set deadline is coming up...
It's getting close but it's still having issues...
Struggling with music library organization, but then I remembered I'm a programmer

Now I'm struggling with code
