The dtf company we had been using dropped the ball on delivery (again… open to company suggestions!), so I cut out the designs from vinyl we had and still made the shirt awesome for race day!

@jb_monkeygrrrl wanted to go to the gym with me… we argued over who’s stronger, fought over weights, and she has joined me in not liking my trainer (he’s assured us he’ll sleep fine). And this was the first exercise of the session. 😜

I asked for this video because my shoulder was giving up… I went from getting some good groups to very not. I wanted to see how much the bow was moving; wasn’t so bad on the first one, then I started overthinking.

I was going to comment on “dropping it like it’s hot”, but my knee went out when I was 13.. I was dropping nothing. Both songs came out after my second knee surgery in my early twenties, when I got into running. So I feel like “to the window, to the wall” was a better option for me. 😏

My friend and I have decided to do something to recharge ours souls on Sundays (help us come up with a fun hashtag!)… today we did some art. Not outwardly a protest, but a bit of whimsy to offset the seriousness of the news so we can continue on.

I made a video for each bag size that we sell.. to give an idea of what they can hold; a cosmetic bag (or as one says.. “maybe meds, maybe snacks”), a pencil bag (or smaller cosmetic bag), and a cord holder (or as the video shows.. candy!). There’s a lot more designs in my Etsy shop!

Based on a joke from @thekristinkey about the Lesbian Army… my friend and I saw that no one had made a sticker from it and we both wanted one. So I made one. Also, I chose Gayvenclaw from the comments.. because nail clippers.

My trainer got first view of my grip glove and some muscle spasms at my last couple workouts. Now we need to find a more balance where I can still push without setting off the spasms.

I was supposed to be moral support at the UCSF/CAF climbing clinic… I haven’t been able to climb because my hands got worse. As soon as I agreed to climb, I was in a harness. This was my only climb and I only made it about halfway up, but it reminded me how much I enjoy climbing. And I’m good at it.

So I’m slowly realizing my body needs more than I’m giving it.. I used to be an ultramarathoner that trained by frolicking along the trails for hours. However, I have to balance that with my angry nerves that don’t want to send the right signals when I’m tired.. then I don’t recover properly. 🙄
