Been playing through Kingdoms of the Dump. It's a game that keeps making me go "Man, this keeps getting better!" The trajectory of the story and all the fun playable sequences give me the same feelings I had playing Final Fantasy VI, VII & IX. It's a damn fine RPG.

sat down and tore through wonder boy: the dragon's trap in a single day. this game is gorgeous wtf??? the gameplay can be rough around the edges since it's a remake of an 80's game but the different transformations, secrets, and metroid-y lock puzzles were all pretty satisfying. music is s-tier
