How many years post-pandemic are we going to accept “unusually high call volume” as a valid excuse?

If it’s been the standard for four years, it’s not "unusual"—it’s just your new (bad) service model. A 1-week response time is the new normal. 🙄

In Sweden, we traditionally celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. 🎀🎄

Merry Christmas! 😊

This was inspired by Frank's post where he showcased the new image generation in ChatGPT. I got kind of close, but not exactly.

A common problem with learning, whether through apps or other methods, is the emphasis on completing tasks rather than providing ongoing formative feedback.

We actually bought the cheapest Christmas tree in the store and it actually does not look bad at all. Pictures will follow!

One New Year's resolution for me would be to use algorithmic social media much less. #BlueSky

It’s time we address the "engagement at any cost" model. 🛑 Algorithms prioritizing rage-bait and clicks over user safety are failing us. When a platform curates your reality, they must take responsibility for the outcome. We need tech that protects, not just provokes. #TechEthics #SocialMedia

Why are individual social media users solely accountable for crimes like hate speech, threats, and illegal trafficking, while the platform that profits from hosting and enabling this content is not?

Google Tasks doesn't remind me about incomplete tasks the next day, which is frustrating since I need an app that supports my memory more effectively.

Recently I had lunch in an ordinary Swedish school cafeteria. Look at this vegan option (sausage/meatballs) with rice and salad! Lunches are free for all students up to 18, and as staff, we pay a small fee to eat together with them.

Coaches, let's face it, creating content for teachers on a 1:1 scale is difficult and time consuming. But ... (hear me out) ... what if it doesn't have to be?

GenAI is reshaping higher ed assessment, but stop looking for a "solution." Findings show it’s a wicked problem—it can't be solved, only managed. 🤯 This fundamentally shifts how we approach policy & design.

This is an important reform and is sadly very criticized.
💧 A lot of people seem to be unhappy with the EU directive on tethered bottle caps. 🙁

We love it! 😃

It’s a simple fix for a serious problem.

This is a very important issue for schools to tackle in the short term.

However, this aspect on the double edged sword that technological advances poses in general and AI in particular, is not exclusive to schools.
“AI is not invited into schools through a process of adoption, like buying a desktop computer or smartboard—it crashes the party and then starts rearranging the furniture. That means schools have to do something. Teachers feel this urgently.” #AI #AcademicSky #EduSky

Feeling kind of disheartened now that I realize that my fifth-grade daughter's teacher doesn't check her math book. So she's been counting and getting the wrong answers for at least weeks now.

We have to step up as parents now.

My main language and my native language is Swedish. When I bought the Pixel 10, I used it as I usually do. I follow news, social media, and take photos.

But when I switched to English, there's a whole world of built-in AI to help me write and work! 😍😲

For some reason, I struggle with following a series. I read almost every day, mainly audiobooks, but as soon as there's a sequel, I'm usually drawn to something else and forget about the first one.
