Having difficulty shaking the feeling that this administration of less than mediocre white men is going to kill me before my time directly or indirectly through deliberate action or negligence.

This is a direct consequence of Trump & MAGA who joked about the hammer attack on Pelosi’s husband in their home.
law enforcement officials say they made a proactive check at Rep. Hortman's home after a lawmaker who lived nearby was shot and found a "police vehicle in the driveway with emergency lights and what appeared to be a police officer at the door coming out of the house." He was actually the gunman.

Gov. Kehoe of Missouri has activated the National Guard and declared a State of Emergency in anticipation of planned protests this weekend.
What the hell?! Nazis just marched several weeks ago & police greeted them. Our mayor has something to say…

Well, it’s up to the People in the streets now to stop this.
Today they have crossed a deep red line.

We, the people, must hold the president and his appointees accountable for this outrageous abuse against American liberty.

It’s now abundantly clear that only “we” can save democracy, and it will have to be done in the streets.

But how are they going to “rake” the forests if they fire all these rakers?

And now the orange 🤡 is going to ruin the Super Bowl. KC is a blue city & doesn’t deserve this, although the rest of MO is batshit.

Football is all that matters this evening to this #ChiefsKingdom fan since 1963. I can return to worrying about all the shit tomorrow.

Well, so much for counting on football for being a distraction from the shitshow.

The mob has been freed, Nazi salutes, & to hell with climate just for starters. The dystopian future is here.

These “news conferences” need to take place later in the day. Listening while sober is torture. I’m too weak willed & my liver is too important to sacrifice to this insanity.

Red Missouri hates Blue Kansas City. They shouldn’t be allowed to like our Chiefs & BBQ. I’m not really kidding.
Most folks, even in MO, don’t realize that the Kansas City Police force is not run by the city of Kansas City. It is basically run by a state board appointed by the governor, and unfortunately, voted on statewide in vaguely worded measures by folks who don’t understand that’s the case. Good times.
Missouri adopted a statewide measure earlier this year that forces Kansas City, and only Kansas City, to spend a large chunk of its budget on policing.

“That takes money away from infrastructure investments, that takes money away from just basic services,” says one local critic.

This year’s signature cocktail at my family Thanksgiving will be a cranberry & rosemary margarita. Working on perfecting it tonight. Not sure my liver can handle a second Trump adm—it barely made it through the first.
