February 14 is Love Your School Library Day and given all that is going on in this world I thought I would showcase a week in our wonderful library.

I am wondering if there are any teacher librarians who can help… Have been slowly creating word based non fiction call numbers in our library. Has anyone tried this? I have Finance, Sports, Nature, Arts, a TBA Own Voice Indigenous section, Play, Social Justice, Wellness, Arts as main sections.

I am kinda proud of my digital day book I recently designed. It’s imperfect- (and really not deep and meaningful). But it’s fun adding stickers and some colours to weekly plans when it’s dark and raining outside.

So my first post here- a bit nervous. I am hoping that this place will one where I can learn, share and get excited by possibilities. I am mainly interested in library programming, spaces and resources in school settings, but also geek out on gardening and art-making. Hello everyone. 💜
