As an artist of many decades, they are absolutely against artists. Companies like Adobe price artists out of their software and then allow ai to copy their work and style, and pimp it out to non-artists to sell. Using AI slop is anti-artist. Just stop.
This, about AI, is so good on many levels, from the "they're taking revenge on artists" angle to the "do you really want to give THESE guys more power?" bit.
