The beginning of 2025 was tough for pro wrestling with many storylines stuck in neutral. WWE has become an advertising product occasionally interrupted by wrestling matches....but AEW had the strongest second half to a year that I can ever remember. Every storyline and every match was a hit!

Positives: The stream is real high quality, no issues
Negatives: SO MANY COMMERCIALS. Isn't the point of buying a streaming subscription less and ideally, no commercials?

What an intriguing end to #AEWFullGear. Hangman coming out to kill Yuta for no reason, and then kinda aligning with Christian, and a little Jay White action and Darby car wreck. If there was one thing missing from the Mox angle was notable stars getting involved instead of just OC and the job squad!

The way Renee tries to be a neutral observer about Jon Moxley makes no sense! She says "well as his wife, I'll just say he is more focused than he's ever been in his life, and he believes he's working for something bigger than him". She has to either support or divorce in-character! #AEWFullGear
