Some personal news for those I haven't kept up with: I had a kid in August! She was diagnosed with Down syndrome at birth, but thankfully was not born with any of the serious co-morbidities that often come with the condition. She's growing like a weed and is a vibrant and lovable 3-month-old.
My kid gave me HFMD. I have a tee time Sunday at the Donald Ross Memorial. Please let me be healed and able to hold a golf club by then.

Follow-up on this: 2 months ago I was finally able to see an ENT. Within 2 min he clocked me as having a patulous eustachian tube. This means that instead of opening and closing normally, my tube stays wide open all the time! Which explains why hearing my own voice was painful
That was my wakeup call to finally seek medical advice, so tomorrow I’m getting my ears checked and I am gleeful at the thought of maybe someday having ears that don’t rattle my skull

Yeah this is frustrating. I don’t use any of that garbage.
Google is raising my Google Workspace pricing claiming all the “AI value” added.
I turned off Gemini in Gmail and Docs because it just doesn’t work / do anything useful for me.
So why am I being charged more?
Having costs b/c of AI is not the same as generating value with AI…
