If the game leaned into the fantasy side and was basically a modern interpretation of Quake it probably would have been much better received

It's actually very funny that Highguard ended up being a relatively unique game and honestly kinda interesting just with a complexity that I'm uninterested in learning.
But has one if the most insanely generic art styles I've ever seen in an fps.

Usually stamina/power sparks are the most valuable purely off the fact that clicking speed is better than any other stat especially since it's very possible to not bring stam/power cards and if you do you rarely bring more than 1 of them

People usually say "it's the lack of teams" and there is probably something to that, but I honestly think like... Other games, even singleplayer ones, train you for many of these games and their mechanics, while Fighting Games have no real parallel genres to ease people in.
Trying to learn deadlock and I genuinely think it's insane how anyone could think fighting games have an accessbility problem when games like this are 4723458974389574 times more complicated and 854783647862347 times more popular lol

at absolute perfect play upgrading from a crafted to a raid piece is a 1% dps gain, usually less because players stuck on enrage aren't perfect, this is 1-2 ilvls gain. That is even less for tome pieces
