With support for both Trump and the Democratic Party cratering, we’re going to see a pendulum swing to the left in primaries and general elections across America. We already are. And it won’t just happen in blue cities or states. 🧵
The lesson for all Democrats: Be brave, be bold, fire your traditional comms hacks and hand the keys to your digital strategists.
Newsom's online follower growth this year has outpaced that of every other Democratic politician in America, including high-profile progressive stars such as Zohran Mamdani, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Bernie Sanders.

The differences in how right-wing media outlets and creators are treated and empowered by Republicans compared to how left-leaning media outlets and creators are treated by Democrats never ceases to madden me. To their detriment. It's just wild.

May every candidate Schumer and Jeffries refuse to endorse win as big as Zohran did last night 💫

I can’t stop thinking of every young person who worked, volunteered for or believed in Zohran’s campaign. For the rest of their lives, on bright days like today - and far darker days to come, they will have a leg up because they will always have hope in the driver’s seat 🫶

Agree with every word of @faiz.bsky.social here - we need more candidates with both the spine to stand up to the tech billionaires who have co-opted our democracy, and who have a vision for how to hold tech + AI accountable to building IN SERVICE to all Americans, not in detriment.

The wildly over-valued $150M purchasing price of Bari Weiss' substack network by Larry Ellison makes more sense when you consider the rapid + complete MAGA-fication of one of the longest legacy news brands in America she was hired to be the public architect of.

Something I'm reflecting on a lot these days is how Dem leaders drank their own koolaid for so long, believing they were the ones protecting democracy, when they are STILL clearly only interested in protecting themselves. Seems pretty undemocratic to me.
