It takes place in a grizzled world called Mundun (Mun-dune) that was forever changed by visitors from the stars. The peoples who live in it make do with what remains.
Large mammalian carnivores that walk on hoofed toes and hunt in packs. These beasts are notable for being sapient and having their own language and culture. Historically have good relations with Orcs & are often seen with them.
