I think Whammageddon is due for retirement. It’s time to sign up for Carolgeddon where you aim to get through the whole of December having only seen ONE adaptation of A Christmas Carol.

Oh my gosh snap this up if you haven’t already read it, Musketeer Space is terrific! (Also what a fabulous cover!)
Ten years ago, I sent Musketeers into space with my epic, gender-swapped space opera retelling of the Dumas novel. Now the Musketeers are back in 3 snazzy paperback editions featuring glorious art by @ravven.bsky.social

The Leading Ladies Fantasy Bundle:
You know how it goes. There's one female character in the book, and she's a love interest. She's given little to do and less to wear. She has no good lines, and nothing to contribute save her helplessness.
These are not those stories. storybundle.com/fantasy

I think it's hilarious that most people cite Anne Rice as the 'cautionary tale' for authors responding badly to book reviewers, when Lord Byron is RIGHT THERE and no literary critics ever challenged Anne Rice to a duel for being mean to them.

The new Downton Movie offered a whole lot of cozy goodness, but particular a splendid array of new hats! Of all the costume dramas, Downton has always delivered good hat.

I think my favourite thing about the Downton Abbey movie coverage so far is all the media flipping out because they forgot to obsessively invade the privacy of the cast for the last several years and now they have several marriages, pregnancies and babies to catch up on.

It is so bizarre to me to see how much 'cozy' is being used in the promo tour for Downton Abbey Happy Ever After - all 3 movies certainly ARE cozy because basically epilogues but the original series was pure agony!angst!melodrama punctuated by witty remarks, frocks and tea.
