We were working & couldn’t imagine being unable to earn a living

We didn’t plan to become disabled. We didn’t plan to stop working

Yesterday, we met the new SEND Minister, Georgia Gould MP. We restated that the law is sound and needs to be properly implemented & complied with. We also discussed the need for another independent supporters prog, to liaise between parents and LA. Minister Gould said she was keen to work with us
📣 SNJ & IPSEA yesterday met SEND Minister Georgia Gould. We restated the law must be retained & fully implemented in deed, culture ➕ sustainable funding. Getting more disabled adults into work starts with being fully included in education. The Minister said she’s keen to work with us
