Excuse me, but you throw food at a cop, you're probably gonna get a trip to the Graybar Hotel for a night. That was true even before Trump. I've seen people in the back of a cruiser for less. Getting charged with a *felony* was the authoritarian overreach - and it failed.
There are degrees of fascistic control. True, he got off, but he shouldn't have been charged in the first place and the actions he was protesting should never have happened.
