Ah that familiar COP feeling. Neon lights, sticky surfaces, days becoming nights without you noticing. Also, my keyboard is full of espresso.

It's been a bit shit lately, but there's nothing better than screaming at a TV in a pub and then being taught Arsenal celebrations by enthusiastic young geezers

The awful and wonderfully sad thing about losing someone are the constant reminders. This morning I'm listening to Neutral Milk Hotel and remembering my then-teenage brother grabbing one of their drumsticks. Laughing and exhalting when he got it.

TIL that a curfew is also a literal object! the word has its roots in the French couvrefeu - "cover fire" - and was used to denote a bell rung to warn people to cover their fires overnight to prevent the outbreak of flames between wooden houses. a curfew was a bell-shaped cover for embers!

This is so bafflingly easy. India, most of China, Southeast Asia, Turkey, Iran, and some good coffee.
For the rest of your life, you can only eat food from one of these regions. Which do you choose?

So, ah, Eze's not really playing in the Conference League right?

Won't lie. Been obsessively refreshing Arsenal news all day. Just felt like something was up.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal make move for Eberechi Eze + 27yo wants them. Tottenham lined up deal with #CPFC today & player but after Havertz injury + #AFC now closing in on England in’l. If he proceeds with choice, #THFC will pursue other targets

This probably means our business for the summer is over. I think we've done well - especially in strengthening the midfield. I'm higher than most on Noni, but I think our attack is deeper, not significantly better. Our best starting three in most games is probably still Martinelli-Havertz-Saka.
🚨 Exclusive: Leandro Trossard has agreed a new deal at Arsenal.

30-year-old will have salary increased to reflect valued role in squad.

Contract not extended - will still run to 2027.
