🚽 FLUSHED WITH SUCCESS! Thank you!
Labour proposals for a better public loo strategy passed unanimously at B&NES Council last night, seconded by Lib Dem Economic Development lead Paul Roper. Next? Solid action, so this motion doesn't just go down the pan...

💷 £800 million of new funding

🚄 🚌 🚃 to improve public transport in the Bath-Bristol area

🤝 That's what a Labour Mayor working hand-in-hand with a Labour government delivers
I pledged to work with government and councils to get the West moving.

Three-quarters of a billion pounds secured for transport will do just that, as we start a new chapter together: better buses, more trains, and mass transit.

Trams and much more are on the table!

Really great news for the South West!
A record £752m for transport has been secured for the West of England – a month since I became Mayor.

This transformational sum will mean better buses, more trains, and mass transit.

We'll work with local councils and partners to deliver real change: tinyurl.com/West752mTransport

An inspirational weekend hearing from MPs from across the South West - where Labour is now the biggest party! - at our regional conference. Their dedication to our area is incredible

Today is an object lesson in the radicalisation of the British right-wing press. Britain is being disparaged and insulted by a foreign far-right conspiracy theorist. But the Mail, the Express, the Telegraph and even the Times choose focus their criticisism on the British prime minister instead.

I have made a #DuvetKnowItsChristmas bingo card! And done alt text on it (as everyone else should, if they're able).

This is a no-brainer auto enrolment for free school meals should not be something we have to debate. Come on B&NES make it happen.
We've been out today encouraging Bath parents & other residents to back our campaign to ensure B&NES Council provides free school meals to all eligible children
