Whilst at primary school we went over to visit the dry dock and see the Matthew being built. I have this memory of them steaming planks to bend them into shape.

We also visited the SS Great Britain at the same time.
The replica of Cabot’s caravel boat the Matthew was built in 1996 and designed by naval architect Colin Mudie, who researched similar ships of the late 1400s in attempt to recreate the vessel as historically accurately as possible.

This feels like very worrying and bad news for Bath - what are Labour thinking? The only reason so much of the city is protected is because of UNESCO inscription meaning more scrutiny and call ins are allowed on planning decisions made. This looks to be the sack of Bath mark 2.
Bath UNESCO status put before need for homes, says council's Labour opposition
Labour councillors say the council should 'fully assess' the economic benefits of Bath remaining a World Heritage Site

A joy to finally have seen and been able to photograph a kingfisher in Bath. I’ve been trying for a few years to get a decent shot and now I have I am VERY happy. 😆

Why is it that when a new book gets published it comes out in hard back first and not paperback? I would prefer it the other way around (and I’d have more space on my bookshelves for more books). That’s today’s 3am musings 🤷‍♂️🤣

Running slightly late this morning so grabbed a taxi to Bath Spa Uni. Jumped out at Main House and a guy rushed out to meet me… except it wasn’t me he was supposed to meet… I played along politely until it finally clicked that I wasn’t the guy he was waiting for… I just presumed I knew him 🫣🤷‍♂️🤣

Does anyone else really hate voice notes? Or is it just me? Please just send me a damn message or phone but not this weird in-between thing that I probably can’t listen to straight away because I work in theatre and have to be quiet most of the time… ANNNND breathe! 😮‍💨🤣🫣

I wish companies would stop publicly advertising job roles they already know the person they want for. Stop playing games. Just give it to them and be done with it and stop wasting everybody else’s time 😉 Do you have ANY idea how long it takes to fill out a job application? Rant over 🤣🤣🤣
