Splurged on these absolutely gorgeous crate and barrel holiday glassware. I didn't register for new glasses or dining sets when we got married so happy 9 years to us because momma treated herself

This will be the 3rd consecutive year @notmznikki.bsky.social and I send each other Christmas cards and I watch my husband panic because he "can't remember where" he knows them from while I insist we're very good friends and it's so rude he forgot. This is one of my favorite holiday traditions! 😂😂

Tiny Dude has his first hangout where the parents drop off and don't stay too (our neighbor so the families know each other well) and I was hanging out while they started the movie and they asked me to go upstairs! They're too cool for me! Like boys I am fun! I am cool! 😭🤣🤷🏻♀️

Tonight on National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Day I sat next to a mother and young daughter getting to enjoy her first live musical. It made me miss my own daughter tremendously. I love you my sweet, till we meet in the wild flower field 💕

Ah yes government shutdown where my husband is working without compensation and we just had to look at the bank account to justify order school pictures. LOVE IT.

I told my mother. She couldn't be bothered to look up from her iPad.
I started to plant the seed that we're not going anywhere on Christmas Day to stay home just us 4. The only reason this is a big deal is because I'm the designated people pleaser and "do the right thing always" child. The relief I feel holding a boundary like this. Unreal.
