Years ago, T told me to stop trying to be a 'good daughter.' They'd never be happy. I should instead do what would leave me with no regrets when they died. Transformative. I stopped seeking approval and started just being kind.

I felt that with T, and I feel it now. That’s not always how sex works for me. It certainly doesn’t imply a marriage. But it’s clear that in this case with my body I do worship.

I work in a very conservative industry and geebus crackers... having to watch people I work with decently lamenting Kirk as a peaceful good man? I'm throwing up in my mouth.
No one should be shot. But I am way less upset about this particular death than, you know, all the deaths he incited.
