I realized something this morning.
It’s not just what the day brings you. It’s also what you bring the day. It can’t be just one or the other.
Passive with no control. Or frustrated and angry that the world doesn’t follow your plans.

Been nearly 24 years since the accident that claimed Aaliyah’s life. I think a lot of her final album still sounds current. That’s a rarity.
Her 2001 self-titled LP set the bar. High.
That’s a testament to the magic that Timbaland, Static Major, and Aaliyah had. Wish they had more time together.

It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed at loud while reading. Tartt is able to bend and stretch words in a way that is lyrical.

As much as I love DEP, Killer Be Killed, and The Black Queen, I feel like Better Lovers might be my favorite project from Greg Puciato.
IMO, “At All Times” can only be born from pain of growth. Of rediscovering the light after wandering through the darkness.
