Finished my 2nd listen through of Dungeon Crawler Carl, then through book 1 all over again on Sound Booth Theater's Immersion version with new dialogue and sound effects. Working my way through Kaiju: Battle Surgeon now while waiting for DCC book 8.

6 months without a reliable computer. Plenty of time out in the woods though, so that's been a neat trade off.
Had to replace my old rust bucket van too which ate my whole New Computer fund, but the new van has one of those built in TV for the kids.
Trying to take the good with the blah.

I'm grateful for audiobooks. Time to sit still and read is a luxury I don't have but having 10 hours of story to listen to while out in the woods is a great gift.

Though not a highly acclaimed film, I'll never forget the time my grade 10 teacher wheeled in the TV/VCR trolly and popped this in. He didn't feel like teaching, had lots of marking to do, so he had us watch Phantoms. I wasn't into horror at the time so it had me quite spooked.

Wrote and turned in my 2.5k to 3k word Halloween themed story for the Dark Somnium's Discord contest. Fingers crossed. I don't enjoy working within a word limit but managed to finesse me way to exactly 3000 words.
After, I was told they wouldn't punish a few words over. Oh well.
