This is a very good perspective. Seems there should be a more hybrid program that goes beyond just the hands-on technical skills to teach soft and ancillary skills needed in most any profession. Plus support for the trainers. Seems like a great role for community colleges.

The ability to understand a problem and communicate/ask questions clearly & effectively is an underrated skill. The term "soft skills" is not a compliment. But those skills are even more important now. People who say generative AI is revenge of the humanities majors are not entirely wrong 😅
