I love commissioning art for my projects. Nothing helps get me motivated again like looking at cool art for the game. So, since i am currently staring at it for motivation I figured I would share some of the art for two of the species in the game.

We've wrapped up Iron Kingdoms FMF and next we we kick off the incredible Heart by @rowanrookanddecard.bsky.social! Will I be able to juggle a table of 7 players or will I fake a heart attack and slowly inch towards the door until I make my escape? We'll see!

All these games be sliding in like 1 or 2 cool animal species for players. I'm over humans with different heights, weights, and ear pointiness. Give me turtles, ducks, squids, etc. and make them cool. Give me super weird ones like ooze-folk and hives of bugs. Screw the baseline.

I read over and over again how characters who are good at things should just be good at them. Only roll when there is a cost to failing. Can't we could extend that even further? Why roll at all if the character is a professional. Why can't the trained warrior just kill the goblin with their action?

Do people who like TTRPG podcasts mainly like the let's play style or the discussion of systems? I am contemplating doing interviews with my one-shot players and editing into a podcast but I wonder if anyone would actually be interested in that sort of thing. New game every month.

About 7mo I decided I was tired of having a shelf full of TTRPGs I never get to play. So, I started a group focused on playing one-shots in different systems. Finish a one-shot, switch systems. We're about to wrap up our 7th game and the group has grown from 2 players to 7. It's been amazing.
