Remember, it should appeal to insane pensioners and absolutely nobody else. QT with yours!

I've had this in my head for about 16 hours now and this is an attempt to externalise it - pass on the curse, if you will.

My stop buying records month going super well by getting two recentish LPs cheap. Will I like them? I have bits and bobs by both.

10m in the brief respite between rainy misery. Quiet on most trails, lots of all-the-gear mountain moped nimrods on the main. I preferred them when the herd was thinned out to those willing to use their legs to get to the top. MOAN.

Having been fed, this chinstrap has now fallen asleep on my chest and is snoring like a drunken stevedore at the midpoint between my eyes and my book.

Little does he know, it's flea treatment day today.

Incredible these still play. They've been in an undiscovered cd cache since the millennium. No rhode tune, no helicopter tune, but some great bits and bobs across these.

Dizzying, in retrospect.

If oat milk can't be called milk in this dipshit country, can we also rebrand dairy milk as 'udder pus'?

'cos it's a motherfucking* disgrace.

*With apologies to my Greek classicist friends. I also know it's not pus. Leave it.

Beautiful cormorant drying his wings on a platform in the centre of the lake.

Mate, I wouldn't bother.

Spent a bit of time with this, last night MAN doing MANLY work and this morning doing bugger all.

Fact I've had it on constant repeat when there's so much else begging for attention speaks volumes.

Capsule review: the tits.

In my happy place for #cdfriday with Cluster & Eno.

It's on as I perform my favourite erotic pastime: using new hardware as an excuse to recable the entire office. No, YOU'RE weird.

"We Played Some Open Chords and Rejoiced, For the Earth Had Circled the Sun Yet Another Year" - A Winged Victory For The Sullen

I love this track, album and band.
Deleted a post about “what’s your least favorite song” because the vibes are bad enough already.

Instead: what’s your favorite song that has a long title, say at least 6 words long?

Mine: “Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town” (Pearl Jam)

Midlake / Jane Weaver (especially Jane Weaver - it's easy to forget what an incredible catalogue she's got) were fantastic in Digbeth last night.

The entire M6 shutting down on the way back less so.

Watching The Secret Agent

It's stupid long. I'm halfway through and it's like a fever dream I don't understand. The colour is lovely, though, and Udi Kier has just popped up. It's making me quite anxious.

Watched The Astronaut last night which is toooootal bollocks.

I'm Barry Norman, goodnight.

Super quick service from Honest Jon's for this total banger. Stupidly, I left a new flat object on a flat surface for over five seconds, so I've relinquished ownership.

Cheers to @harrysword.bsky.social for the nod.

Spending a bit of time today with the new Craven Faults and *very* much enjoying it. You know what you're getting, it's all in the detail and temporal distortion.
