1. Start designing games for you, not others. I understand it might not be economically viable (whatever that means), but chasing the next big hit will leave you more frustrated than fulfilled.
Game design is more lottery nowadays.

Excited to try these games from Taiwan. Well, I’ve played Hot Pot Holic already- neat drafting (using trick taking) game. Totally family friendly & adorable.

At BGGcon Moe and I had a lot of opportunities to play our trick taker games and they went really well. They’re definitely for the more advanced players.
