There's a track I've been listening to on repeat for months. Kinda want to make a video piece for it. So... might do that. Hello Audacity, it's been a while. Apparently they now have a cloud service and plugin store that they heavily and deceptively push on you which isn't great.

Bluetooth headphones are nice for many things, but cutting out the first second or so from the start of any audio being played makes audio / video editing super annoying.

Might do a tutorial and file download for this RayTK scene after the video I'm currently editing, along with a version that offsets a 3d surface with the pattern. And maybe toss in mediapipe control?

Dear LEDs (those affiliated with receiver card 11),
Please stop being red all the time. Sometimes it's a nice color, but I don't think it's necessarily better than the colors we're asking you to be. Let's focus on those colors instead ok?

Those numbers become so abstract and the comparisons so arbitrary. It's easy to lose perspective.
But it feels amazing to know that I've helped some people make art.

I look at this and I see all the things I wish were better.
The coloring is too uniform. The pattern is muddled and indistinguishable.
The depth range of the surface cuts off too abruptly.
I do also like it generally. I just have to push past all of those things.

downside of commercial work is i can't talk about half of it and i really want to.

i dont even know what we're supposed to say on Trans Day of Remembrance anymore. we keep losing so many and they are determined to make us lose more. we keep being told to hold onto hope but fuck me im in a civil rights dispute RIGHT NOW. we'll fight but fuck me it's hard not to feel alone
